Our preforms are an ideal solution for Glass-to-Metal hermetic sealing for both compression and matched seals. They create a hermetic seal to a variety of metal packages and after sealing provide exceptional environmental protection, hermeticity, and reliability. This makes it ideal for applications where there is potential vibration or shock as well as those with high temperature exposure such as in automotive applications.
Our fully integrated operation from stringent batch-controlled glass melting to precision pressing and sintering equipment ensures preform consistency to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Electro-Glass preforms come in a variety of shapes including cylindrical and tubular, ring, oblong, multi-hole, frame, and other complex geometries. Application specific designs can also be engineered upon request.
